Ported Stock Lower Intake
This intake has been welded in the corners to allow further porting. It now out flows a GT-40 & Cobra intake according to flow numbers provided by Richard Holdener's 2000 Dyno Pulls book. Stock flow on cylinder #5 was measured to be 158.7 cfm. The same runner ported, now flows 232.8 cfm.
Ported Stock Upper Intake
This intake has been cut into three pieces, the runners ported, then TIG welded back together. It now, like the lower, out flows a GT-40 or Cobra intake. It has a 70 mm opening. Stock flow was 193.2 cfm. Ported flows 235.0 cfm.
Ported Stock E7TE Heads
These heads have been fully ported and polished. They now have 1.94/1.60 Ferrea stainless steal valves that have been backcut. They have Edelbrock 0.575" springs and Comp locks and retainers. These heads now outflow GT-40, Roush 200 and have a better average flow up to 0.500 and 0.550" lift than most entry level aftermarket heads, which is more important than flow at high lift because most 5.0's have cams 0.550" lift or less.
